Apply Aloe Vera gel or a cooling calamine lotion. Stay hydrated and avoid further sun exposure until the skin heals. Do not peel the skin if it starts to flake.

Do not pop it! The skin over the blister acts as a natural sterile bandage. Cover it with a 'Blister Bandage' or a donut-shaped pad to take the pressure off.

Do not try to pop it back in. This can damage nerves and blood vessels. Support the arm in a sling and go to the ER for a professional 'reduction'.

Rinse with warm water. If you find the piece of tooth, keep it in a small container of milk and see a dentist immediately; they may be able to bond it back.

Use the RICE method. Wrap it with a crepe bandage (not too tight) and rest it in a sling if needed. Avoid heavy lifting for at least 2 weeks.

Apply a cold compress (ice wrapped in a cloth) for 15 minutes every hour for the first day. This reduces swelling and bruising. Do not apply raw meat; that is a myth.
