Wash daily with mild, unscented dish soap and warm water. Avoid using bleach, alcohol, or strong cleaners, as they will dry out the silicone and cause leaks.

What does the 'S/T' mode mean on a BiPAP machine?

'Spontaneous/Timed' mode. It follows your natural breathing (Spontaneous) but will automatically deliver a breath if the machine detects you haven't breathed within a set time (Timed).

Can I use 'Mineral Water' in my CPAP/BiPAP humidifier?

No. Mineral water or tap water will leave white 'scale' deposits in the water chamber. Always use distilled or demineralized water to keep the heating element clean.

What is the 'Ramp' feature on a CPAP/BiPAP?

The ramp starts the machine at a very low, comfortable pressure and gradually increases it to your prescribed level over 20-45 minutes, helping you fall asleep easier.

Why is there 'Water' in my CPAP tube in the morning?

This is called 'Rainout.' It happens when the warm air from the humidifier cools down in the tube and condenses. Using a 'Heated Tube' or a hose cover usually solves this.
